MEET DANA D. SILL, RDH
Dana D. Sill has been a member of our exceptional dental team at Bayview Dental Arts since 1997. Dana was licensed to practice dental hygiene in 1991, and can practice in three states: Florida, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. She was educated at West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where she received a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Dana then received her master’s degree in community health education from West Virginia University School of Medicine.
In addition to her dental hygiene practice, Dana was also a member of the adjunct faculty at Edison College Dental Hygiene Program from 1994 to 1997, where she designed their dental hygiene curriculum. She was the faculty keynote speaker for the college in 1996.
Even while providing excellent dental hygiene services to our community, Dana has found time to do more. She acted as a dental hygiene practice consultant from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, she was the chairperson for the Florida Dental Hygiene Association Council of Governmental affairs. Most recently, the Florida Department of Health Board of Dentistry awarded her a Certification to Administer Local Anesthesia.
