Caring for Your Crown
A dental crown does not protect your tooth from damage or decay. You will still need to maintain excellent oral hygiene to ensure that your teeth remain healthy. Brush and floss twice a day, paying special care to the area around the crown. Avoid grinding your teeth, chewing ice, and biting your fingernails. With the proper care, your crown can last up to 15 years.
